Join us in Peru this April for an intensive Plant Spirit Medicine Retreat

With Javier Zavala Lopez

and Joe Molloy

at Hampichicuy in Tarapoto

8 Day intensive Plant Medicine Retreats at Hampichicuy:

These are an opportunity to experience the power of the plant spirit medicines of the Peruvian jungle and the traditional ‘Dieta.’ The plant spirit medicine ceremonies and programmes that take place at Hampichicuy, our retreat centre in the jungle area at Tarapoto. We begin with the Master Teacher plant and progress into individual plant medicine programmes through the rest of the week as agreed with Javier our Plant Spirit Medicine Shaman.

These retreats offer you an opportunity to explore and experiencing a deeper connection with the traditional plant medicines of the jungle.

Supported by the group leaders and by the team at the retreat centre we follow the traditional 'dieta' programme of plant medicines and diet. The retreat will help you both with your personal healing and to clarify your goals and purpose in life, if this is what you wish.

It will also help deepen your understanding of traditional plant medicines and how they work to support our healing and spiritual development.

Within the 8 day retreats we establish a foundation to working with these healing plants. It is a foundation, but a deep foundation that brings healing, balance, transformation and change into our lives, if we are willing to accept the challenge for greatness and responsibility in our lives.

We aim to ensure to the best of our abilities that the small groups that we take are well balanced and well held.

Dietas are deep experiences of Personal Healing, expansion of consciousness, deeper energy cleansing and greater self-knowledge. All of which also allow for learning to prepare for the next process or level. They allows a much more intimate connection with the master plants of the Peruvian jungle and the land. This deepening process takes time and begins with powerful foundations such as 5 or 8 day retreats. The experience of the dieta can help you decide whether or not you have the ability to learn to 'cure' from the Amazon concept or point of view. That is to say if your path is aimed at helping others in your healing or your way is rather to heal yourself. (Understanding that to heal others we have to heal ourselves first.)   it is recommended to begin with a Dieta of 5 days, in an 8 day seminar or programme. It is more prudent and more practical at all levels. The longer 7-day dietas, within a 15-day seminar, are appropriate after a foundation has been laid. Experienced persons can follow these as part of the programme in the future.
Please note the following information from Hampichicuy and add this to the advice you receive from your family doctor before travelling;
- In Tarapoto there is no Malaria, but it is recognised as a Dengue zone. Taking precautions to deter mosquitos through natural means will help with protection. It is recommended to vaccinate against Yellow Fever for prevention, before coming to Tarapoto. It is also recommended to take Vitamin B or Vitamin B Complex for one month before coming. In all cases we recommend that you seek advice and guidance from your own GP or family doctor in addition to any advice we provide. - Please bring and use only natural insect/mosquito repellents, toothpaste, soaps, deodorants, shampoos, etc. Natural products interfere less with the work of the plant spirit medicines.

Please follow the linked pages to the right, in the menu for details and dates of the next retreats.

For the 8 days of our work together we will remain at the centre under Javier's expert guidance. There will be an opportunity for a rest day before and after the retreat when you are invited to stay at the centre. You can also extend your stay afterwards, if you wish, to enjoy a longer period of rest and integration or explore many of the local places of beauty and interest.

This April there will also be a week long journey with Qero Shaman and Elders in Sacred Valley. If you wish to join this group as well and visit the ancient places of the Incas, including Machu Pichu of course, as well as receiving the healing and traditional lineage rites, energetic empowerments form our Qero Shaman friends please get in contact to let me know.

If you would like to get in touch to have a chat either face to face or by Phone/Skype you will be very welcome to do so. It's also a good way for us to connect and get to know each other, and also to make sure that his is the right retreat for you. There are also some simple questionnaires to complete before arrival.

Aa a requirement we request that all participants in all our international retreats and journeys have current travel and health insurance.

Please contact us for further details so we can tell you more about the retreat and what you can expect at Hampichicuy.
